January 2009

The Anniversary Steering Committee is pleased to report that, with the donations and pledges made by the All Saints' family, we met our initial goal of 70% to finance the stained glass window. The contract with the Charlestowne Stained Glass Company has been signed and the initial payment has been sent.

We continue now with all the other areas of the anniversary celebration that is also important. The different teams are energized by the support given. All are working to provide an anniversary weekend filled with meaningful celebration and worship.

Thank you to all who are helping toward this exciting endeavor for our church. If you have not had a chance to send in your pledge or want to give financially without a pledge, please continue to do so.

December 2008

The anniversary steering committee thanks Mike Patterson, general manager, of the Charlestowne Stained Glass Company for coming and speaking to the parish during the annual meeting on November 16th. He was able to present a rendering of the stained glass window project as well as speak about the process. We are very excited about the possibility of completing this wonderful addition to our church during this anniversary year.

We look forward to an exciting anniversary year filled with spiritual worship, hospitality, fellowship, and a memorial project with the stained glass window. During this anniversary year let us remember our vocation of Living and Sharing the Good News.

November 2008

Plans are underway for the All Saints' Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration scheduled for the weekend of 1 November 2009. Committees are organized to provide a variety of opportunities to celebrate this wonderful occasion. We encourage all members of All Saints' Church to share their time, talent and treasures. Please review the different committees to determine where you would like to serve. We would love to have every member of All Saints' serve in some capacity: from serving on a committee, stuffing envelopes, providing financial contributions, cleaning the properties. All tasks are valued and needed. Please contact any of the committees and ask the question, "How can I serve?"
